We are dedicated to making our website inclusive for all visitors, including those with disabilities.
If you encounter any difficulties navigating our site or accessing a specific document, we are here to support you. Please reach out to us with your questions or concerns.
We have attempted to implement features to improve the experience for individuals with disabilities. Some of these features are described below.
Visual design
- Flexible Layouts: Our site utilizes cascading style sheets (CSS) for a consistent layout that adapts to your needs.
- Adjustable Text: We use relative font sizes that respond to your browser’s “text size” settings.
- Keyboard Shortcuts: You can easily scale the text size using Ctrl + (to increase) or Ctrl – (to decrease) in most modern browsers (such as Firefox, Chrome, and Edge).
- Structural Integrity: Even if your device does not support style sheets, the core content remains fully readable and organized.
Links
- Clear Hyperlinks: Screen readers identify our links as active hyperlinks, ensuring easy navigation.
- Descriptive Context: Most links include “title” attributes to provide extra detail about their destination. We write our link text to be meaningful and easy to understand, even when read out of context.
Images
- Fast Loading: Our design graphics are optimized to ensure the website loads quickly and efficiently.
- Descriptive Alt-Text: Every functional image includes descriptive alternative (ALT) text for screen readers. For purely decorative elements, we use null ALT attributes to avoid distracting from the main content.
